1965 First Edition, Second Impression. Black hard cover with gilt titles to the spine, green pastedowns/endpapers. Dust jacket with golden gun and bullets illustration, with the title wrapping all around the jacket from the back panel to the front. Dust jacket design by Richard Chopping. Book condition near fine, page edges slightly dusty, owners name on front endpaper, else fine. Dust jacket condition very good, edges and flap folds a little rubbed, slightly toned, else fine, not price clipped, price 18s net. Fleming's thirteenth James Bond novel. A golden bullet with "007" etched on it is received by her Her Majesty's Secret Service. It is believed to come from Scaramanga, hired to assassinate Bond and sent to scare his new target. The basis for the James Bond film starring Roger Moore and Maud Adams.
