(3 Volumes) London, John Murray, Albermarle Street, W. 1907 First Edition Decorative Cloth Fine Very Good First Edition published in 1907. Rich red cloth bound boards. The front covers are decorated with ornately tooled and gilded borders enclosing cream central panels housing the emblem of Queen Victoria gilt tooled. The spines have titles in gilt and the emblem of Queen Victoria also in gilt. Complete with dustjackets in very good condition. The fronts of the jackets feature the same design as the boards but in black not gilt. The spines have the titles and emblems in black and also the price £3/3/0. Net. 3 Vols. Rather expensive in 1907 money. Top page edges gilt. A selection of letters from Queen Victoria's Correspondence. Each of the volumes contains a number of illustrations, 13 in Vol I, 16 in Vol II and 11 in Vol III. Vol III also has four large fold out genealogies at the end of the volume: "Pedigree no 1" is the genealogy of "The House of Hanover". Pedigree no. 2 "The Ancestry of Prince Albert" Pedigree no. 3 is in 2 parts "The Descendants of Queen Victoria" The Dustjackets are in Very Good condition, slight fading to spines, tiny bit of rubbing to the edges. The bindings are in Fine condition with no damage, wear or fading. The internal condition is also Fine with no loose or missing pages and no foxing. Size Octavo, 9¼" x 6¼". 641, 575, and 660 pages.
