1950 Sixth Edition. Signed by both Editors. Size octavo, 503 pages. Blue buckram cloth covered boards with gilt vignette portrait of John Hilton to the front cover and gilt titles to the spine. Book condition near fine, a very clean copy. Dust jacket condition very good, a little dust marked folds and edges rubbed, small nicks to the corners, 3 cm tear to front upper edge of spine, not price clipped. A Unique copy of this work. A Presentation copy from the Editors to Professor F. Wood Jones. Inscribed and signed by E.W. Wallis and Signed by Elliot E. Philipp to the front end-paper: "To Professor F. Wood Jones With Kindest Regards E.W. Wallis. Elliot E. Philipp" Also previously owned by Jessie Dobson, Medical Author specialising in Anatomy. With her bookplate to the front end-paper also. And when she died she bequeathed this along with other of her books to the Royal College of Surgeons Hunterian Museum, where she was a curator, and a bookplate to the front paste-down records this donation. 014269
