Size 8¾" x 5¾", 322 pages including index. Grey cloth covered boards with gilt titles on a burgundy panel on the spine. Book condition fine. Dustjacket condition near fine, bottom edge a little creased else fine, not price clipped. From the Library of Sir John and Mary Mills. Signed by Harford Montgomery Hyde with a personal message to Mary and John Mills "To Mary and John. Souvenir of a great night out. With profound salaams and nicest wishes possible". Also with a 2 page letter handwritten by his partner "Robbie" on paper headed "Westwell House, Tenterden, Kent" Thanking Mary for a "Simply lovely evening" Debating the Queen's speech is mentioned and also a tongue in cheek suggestion that John should run for No. 10 and a warm invitation to weekend with them in Kent whenever they found themselves free. 10588

Royal blue cloth covered boards with blind stamped vertical and horizontal lines on the front cover and gilt titles to the spine. Condition good, spine and top front edge faded, covers grubby, corners and spine edges slightly rubbed. light spotting to prelims and index, main contents clean. With frontispiece portrait of Princess Dorothea Christopherovna Lievin in 1815 and 23 further illustrations throughout. 10683
