Not dated. Size 7.25" x 4.5". 3 matching volumes contained in leather backed slipcase. Condition very good, the edges of the slipcase are rubbed, slight rubbing to the book corners and the spine edges, the dark green has faded from the spines, but evenly leaving tan leather spines, the gilt titles and decorations are still bright. The internal condition of each book is fine, no marks or inscriptions, a nice set. Very attractive soft leather bindings dark green covers and tan spines with gilt titles in elaborate frames on the front covers and gilt titles and floral decorations on the spines. All page edges bright gilt and with green book mark ribbons still attached. Each volume has a printed title page and an additional coloured illustrative title page and frontispiece.
