This is a very interesting reference work depicting all aspects of life, law, finance, tradition, customs etc during biblical times. One fine example being a 6 page explanation on the principles and practises of wine-making. Illustrated with numerous line drawings and diagrams throughout. More than 1 per page. In Very Good clean and tidy condition throughout, just a few scattered spots, binding good and tight, boards and spine have embossed designs and gilt titles on the spine, light wear marks at the edges and bumped corners otherwise in very good overall condition.
